Sweater pieces

here is my last sweater before i sewed it together. i loomed it from shoulders down. much easier to shape. i didn't make it long enough tho so i have to figure out how to add on without it looking like i added on...

Afghan and Sweater

Just finished another afghan...this time its Devine yarn....feels so good. And a sweater with Bohemian yarn. I have 1 sleeve to go on another sweater made with Black Lites. The black lites one is coming out much better, somehow 1 sleeve on the bohemian got twisted and it pulls everything out of whack so i will redo it.

Gathered Scarf

This is my gathered scarf, or "made in the dark" scarf cos the power went off for 6 hours. Its Caron Simply Soft Tweed, I love this yarn. I gathered from the inside about every 7 inches, it looks really nice, doesn't show up in the pic. very well. I also made ascarf from Patons Bliss. I want to make a sweater out of this stuff! Its so soft and cuddly, the color I had, red, isn't for me though...don't know why I bought it. I'm finishing sleeve #1 of a sweater out of Patons Bohemian Don't know if I'll have enough to finish but will get a few more skeins next time I go to Carson City. I will also start collecting more fun fur so I can redo my 1st sweater.

New afghan

This is what I've been working on lately. It started as the Square Motif Scarf at Lion Bran Yarn website and grew into an afghan!

well, this is one of the 3 afghans I'm working on. I love making the squares but I need to start sewing them together. Its off white, black and grey, the colors aren't showing in the picture. The pattern is at Lion Brand Yarn, the square motif scarf. It just grew into an afghan!

Latest afghan...finished

I've been working on an afghan for months...not THIS afghan tho. I got tired of working on the other one and just started playing with some voodoo yarn. It really doesn't go very far, each square of voodoo is 2 skeins, so i used Red Heart for the rest. I couldn't match the dark brown voodoo so this is how it ended up. My dad likes it. I have started 2 other afghans and 'the' afghan (i will finish it...but i got another idea and i like it better than what I have so now I'm debating taking apart what I started) I am crocheting 1, i found a scarf pattern and liked it so decided to make it an afghan....don't know why I'm so into afghans. Guess I'm expecting a long cold winter. YUK!!!

Knit wit flowers

Ok, here are 2 flowers done on the Knit wit... the 1st one is with a fuzzy yarn, the lable fell off so i have no idea what the name is, i reall like the feel of it but its not for flowers. the second is with simply soft. its really easy and they are cute
